Realistically, there's a lot more information coming out than what a person can reasonably process. Prioritization has been really helpful but not sufficient so far.
It's not sufficient in itself, but it's the most important first step. After that, you have to figure out how to store information in a way that you can later refer to. Just taking notes allows you to offload information to somewhere where it won't be lost if you suddenly realized you've left dinner on the stove too long.
Unless you've put your notepad on the stove, but that's a much bigger problem.
